Heather Andrews
Oregon State University

Heather Andrews works with Nik Wiman, head of the Orchard Crops Extension Program, on projects like improving fruit and nut crop management in the Pacific Northwest and studying the biology and pest control of insects like filbertworm, brown marmorated stink bug, and codling moth, as well as biocontrol agents like the samurai wasp. She earned a B.S. at Southern Oregon University and a master’s in entomology at Virginia Tech. After working at Scientific Methods, Inc., she joined the Blueberry Extension Program at NWREC in 2013 and transitioned to her current role in 2017.
