Kaan Yılmaz
Ordu University

Hello, my name is Kaan Yılmaz. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Biology, and for my Master's, I delved into the fascinating world of praying mantises, studying how cannibalism affects their sex ratios. My academic journey doesn't stop there; I'm also passionate about butterflies, and fieldwork has become a way of life for me!
My love for these incredible creatures began when I was just five years old. Looking ahead, I'm thrilled at the prospect of pursuing a PhD focused on the ecology of praying mantises or butterflies. I am quite active on social media (both Instagram and X). So make sure to check out my profiles to learn more about mantises, butterflies and more!
